Amanda Meyer
PRINCIPAL & FOUNDER
Amanda Meyer is a New York–based publicist with more than 20 years of experience bringing compelling stories, creative talent and institutions into the spotlight across Broadway, film, design, music and fashion.
Her work is defined by a deep curiosity about—and genuine care for — the people and ideas behind a project, paired with a relentless approach to making sure those stories find their audience. She represents Tony Award winners including Michael Arden, Dane Laffrey, Jen Schriever, Clint Ramos, and Betty Buckley, as well as Tony-nominated producer Brian Moreland, Springboard to Design, Century 21, Civilian Hotel, and others.
Amanda has led publicity campaigns for some of the most talked-about productions and cultural phenomena of the past two decades. Her work with Oscar, Tony, and Emmy winner Paul Tazewell included the historic Oscar-winning campaign for Universal’s Wicked and Tony Award-winning campaign for Death Becomes Her. Her film campaigns have included Emmy-nominated designer Jeriana San Juan (M3GAN 2.0, On Swift Horses) and Tazewell for Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story.
While at DKC/O&M, Amanda handled campaigns for the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Parade and Tony-winning director Michael Arden, The Wiz, and Tony-nominated productions Lee Daniels’ Ain’t No Mo’, Cameron Crowe’s Almost Famous, and Bob Fosse’s DANCIN’. She worked on The Rockwell Group’s theatrical projects including the opening of CIVILIAN Hotel.
Her work extends beyond the stage and screen, encompassing museums, design and experiential attractions. She has represented Mercer Labs Museum of Art & Technology, The Hand & The Eye designed by David Rockwell, Alexa Meade’s Wonderland Dreams, Hamilton: The Exhibition, David Korins’ Academy Awards design in 2022, Sotheby’s exhibition with Burning Man, and U.S. premieres of Immersive Van Gogh and Rolling Stones’ Exhibitionism.
During her decade as lead publicist for Broadway In Chicago, Amanda led press campaigns for more than 300 Broadway productions, including Hamilton’s groundbreaking four-year run and several Pre-Broadway World Premieres. She also led publicity for Blue Man Group, Cirque du Soleil, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, The Chicago Theatre and Navy Pier. She executed media campaigns and press tours for Sting, Dolly Parton, Jimmy Buffett, Cyndi Lauper, Cher, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Rita Moreno, Mike Tyson, Berry Gordy, Carrie Fisher, Nora Ephron, Alan Menken, Holland Taylor, Gloria & Emilio Estefan, Steven Van Zandt, Michelle Williams, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, Ben Platt, Bryan Adams, Disney Theatricals, Jim Henson Company, and many more.
Amanda began her career in Chicago and holds a B.A. in Marketing Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from Columbia College Chicago.
